Lindy Green, MSW
|Lindy joined the DPAS staff in January 2015 to work primarily in the Older Child Adoption program serving children and families on their adoption journeys. Lindy has had a heart for adoption since the young age of 13 when she began praying for her own sibling who would come home through adoption four years later. Lindy’s early exposure to short-term international missions and her family’s experience with adoption led her to the field of Social Work. Throughout her studies, she knew she wanted to serve children and families involved in the journey of adoption.Lindy has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Baylor University in Texas. Her studies of trauma and experience in Uganda for her Master’s internship allowed Lindy to see the benefits of healing the hurt of trauma through relationships. Lindy is thrilled to work with adopted children using Trust-Based Relational Interventions. Outside of work, Lindy enjoys reading novels, traveling, attending Thunder games, and spending time with close friends and her growing family of fourteen.|
Lindy shares her work experience at DPAS.
