Sandy Mills, M.A.
|Sandy joined the DPAS staff in March 2004. She has worked with all members of the adoption triad, but her current primary focus is utilizing her wealth of experience in administrative detail. Sandy coordinates the extensive process prospective adoptive couples are required to complete, including implementing DPAS’ online adoption process.Her heart for adoption started growing 40+ years ago when her nephew joined their family via adoption, impressing on her the amazing sacrifice of birth parents who give their child the gift of a family. She has found her true passion in serving DPAS families.
Sandy has a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and M.A. Degree in Education, with emphasis on Communication Arts, both from Southern Nazarene University (SNU). Strongly committed to serving others, Sandy has spent many years in voluntary service including serving as Angel Tree coordinator for 12 years at her local church.
Sandy’s interests include sports, especially basketball, having served as SNU Sports Media statistician for men’s and women’s basketball for 13 years, and now serving as Communications Manager for the SNU Alumni Players Association. She also enjoys freelance writing and spending time with her family.
