Lauren Labeth, MSW

Lauren joined the DPAS team in December 2015 to serve as a therapist and work with individuals and families who have been touched by adoption. Lauren has her Bachelors of Arts and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. She is undergoing licensure supervision to be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Lauren has several years of experience in working with children on the autism spectrum. She has also worked with children and families who have been touched by significant medical or behavioral needs through her Master’s internship with Oklahoma Family Network. Lauren is eager to work with individuals and families in the adoption process using Trust-Based Relational Interventions. Since deciding on social work, Lauren has had a passion to make a difference in the lives of others. At DPAS, Lauren’s prayer is to walk alongside families as they work through the adoption process and create meaningful, safe, joyful and loving relationships.

Originally from West Texas, Lauren is now a permanent Oklahoma transplant where she does life with her husband and two dogs. While they do not currently have children, adoption has always been part of their family plan and they are continually praying for the Lord’s guidance. They spend their time traveling around the state to various sporting events to support the kids at the local high school where Lauren’s husband works as a coach and teacher. Lauren and her husband also enjoy spontaneous road trips, scuba diving when a large body of water is available and spending time with friends and family. In her free time, Lauren is a voracious reader, an expert napper and a wannabe pastry chef.
